POST: EVENTS AND COMMUNITY MANAGER

BRIX is a proudly Quebec-based, 100% Canadian sports nutrition company, making the world’s only farm-to-table energy gels using maple syrup from our very own sugar shack. Rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and community, we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary this year with continued growth across retail and event partnerships.

To support this momentum, we’re seeking an Events and Community Manager to work alongside our Sales & Marketing Director. We’re looking for a passionate, well-organized, and autonomous individual with a love for sport and strong people skills.

Please note: This role requires up to 50% travel (especially in peak seasons) throughout Quebec, and occasionally Ontario, as you'll play a key role in connecting the brand to the community via events and retail collaborations.

What You’ll Do

This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals in the sport retail industry and represent a growing local brand.

Your responsibilities include:

🟢 Event Management & Brand Representation

  • Represent BRIX at running and cycling events (both local and major)
  • Ensure brand visibility and professional setup at activations
  • Lead consumer education efforts on-site (bilingualism is a strong asset)
  • Manage onsite sales and logistics
  • Support community-based events and races

🟢 Retail Partner Activation & Support

  • Plan and manage in-store activations with retail partners (running, cycling, outdoors & multisport stores)
  • Educate staff and consumers about BRIX products
  • Build strong relationships and deliver excellent partner support
  • Help drive sell-through and increase repeat orders
  • Ensure proper product display and brand visibility
  • Identify and resolve partner concerns or report them to the Sales Director

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in the sport retail industry or in a similar customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and autonomy
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
    Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Passionate about sports, community, and a healthy lifestyle
  • Willing to work weekends during peak event months

  • Sales & Marketing Director (your direct supervisor)
  • Administrative Office for logistics and support
  • Company Founder on special projects and vision alignment
